1 到 Rolex.com 先找出三四家 San Fran 近 Fisherman's wharf 的 AD
2 準備好美元現金 (先放旅館裏) 告知店家你將用現金買
3 秀店家你是外國人 (而不是勞計間諜)
4 準備好一隻便宜錶和舊錶盒 (有Rolex舊錶盒最好) 如你有住米國加州以外的朋友地址
要求店家"貍貓換太子" 郵寄便宜錶和舊錶盒到那地址你當場帶Daytona+錶盒+保卡走人
這樣可不必打稅 (no 8.5% sales tax) 只要這店有作 Mail order 生意就行 (幾乎都有)

5 運氣好您可以九千至一萬美元帶隻 Daytona 回家

我幾個月前問到12000那家現在黑面都要13500了﹐白麵12500....真是土匪..

聽朋友說他拿厚厚一疊花叉花叉的百元大鈔, 共一萬美元, 對著AD經理的臉扇ㄚ扇的
說他只有這麼多一句話現在給錢問經理是要眼前這隻萬元鳥還是林中那隻一萬二的刷卡鳥
結果他戴著白面 Daytona 出店門, he paid 10k + 80 or so small bills in his pocket.

Lesson learned:
1) One bird in hand is better than two birds in the forest
1) Do not underestimate the power of CASH!
2) Visa charge 3% commission on credit card transactions
3) and know when is the slow times at an AD

That's true, to an extend.
The problem with the store I went to is that it's an Asian operated store and has many rich Asian customers who are willing to pay top dollars for the watch. It's almost like AD's in Taiwan, that's why they are able to ask for such ridiculous prices, because people still buy them. I seriously doubt that I can walk away with a Daytona from that store with 10K cash, I mean I can try, but I won't pay 10K for it when I can get it at list price from my dealer, all I have to do is wait for my turn.....and have the funds to buy it...
