大家好, 潛水多時第一次發言.
本人為網路消費的愛好者, 從第一次買股票, 報稅, 買書, 自助旅行買機票, 訂旅館等, 很多生活上的大小事皆在網路上完成.
因為工作環境常需洗手, 因此很久以前就想買一隻工作時可以常戴的手錶(而且要有雙時區與夜光指針). Hamilton 這隻常看很多先進討論而且物美價廉, 因此常思有天一定要入手.
我也知道應該買公司貨比較有保固, 這次也曾經嘗試過打電話給九二新生(我不想白跑一趟)問他有沒有貨. 回答總是沒貨. 我留下電話請他們有貨時通知我可是都沒下文. 在一次網路搜尋中我發現Amazon 有賣而且還便宜蠻多的 (USD. 469). 基於昔日與Amazon 交易的愉快經驗. 當下毫不猶豫就下單. 雖然最後郵資(USD.60)加上進中正機場的關稅(NTD.1591)也沒便宜到那去. 搞不好還比較貴. 不過算了, 方便就好.
貨物經由UPS 在四天後就到我手中. 很高興打開發現品質還不錯. 不過感覺到它的秒針好像跑的有點快. 一開始也不以為意調好時間後放在桌上出門去. 四小時後回家居然發現分針快約20分鐘. 我以為是我之前時間設錯, 再重新調整一次. 發現問題一樣存在.
很誇張的情況是不是? 當下整個心情down到谷底. 上網查詢 refund policy 決定把它寄回去換錢回來. 不過seller 是 Amazon 合作的廠商 luxurywatchstore 所 shipping. 所以程序有點麻煩. 要先寫e-mail 跟它要 return instruction.
哀, 損失來回郵資與關稅事小, 浪費我時間才是大. 不過我相信與 Amazon 及 Seller 應該無關, 錯的應該是 Hamilton 的品管太差了(還是我的運氣比較差?)
不過以後再也不會買 Hamilton 倒是確定的.
PS1: 底下是我經由 Amazon 的線上指示, e-mail 給 Seller 的信, 後續如何再回來跟各位報告:
I am a customer who lives in Taiwan. I just received my item (Amazon.com Order number: xxxxxx, Hamilton Men's Khaki Navi watch #H77615133) today from UPS and found it was a faulty item. Although it appears to be a new watch, however, I found a big problem with it before I wear it at my hand. The watch was running 5 minutes faster in every hour. I placed it at my desk and went out. When I returned home four hour later, I found it was running 20 mins faster (I check it again later and found the problem remains). This is something that nobody can endure. I don't think it is a fixable problem with this watch.
I wish to return the item to you and get the refund. Please give me the return authorization number and instructions. Thanks for your help.
PS2: 剛發現此錶在Amazon 降價為USD. 439.50 , 真是的....

買"低"價機械錶就是常常會碰上這種事
(其實也不低價) 你這樣來回運費再加上關稅 不如找個師傅調整一下 60元運費太高了 用EMS加保險頂多45元 Hamilton要開始出頂級機械錶 |

前輩是說這種瑕疵錶有機會調整? 可是每小時會快到5min, 會有機會修的好嗎? 是什麼原因呢? 有推薦的師傅嗎? 可能會charge 多少錢 抱歉新手上路問題很多 |

他們回信真快, 內容也跟大家建議的一樣: 找一間店調整好比退貨要划算
不過我最近實在很忙沒心力辦這件事 還是有人有興趣低價接手? 或者我把它移到二手區好了 以下為他們回信的內容: Thank you for your email. We tested the watch before sending the watch and it keeps very good time. Please be aware that automatic watches require fine tuning depending on the person and how he or she wears the watch. It will be cheaper for you to take the watch to a local watch repair shop and have them fine tune the watch for you. Customer support |

告訴它們 而且這是明顯的暇疵品 要求他們再換一隻給你 退回運費也要他們出 (可用他們UPS的戶頭退回美國) 或著調整費用要他們出 還要補償你一些$$$ |

感謝前輩的指點 本來真想便宜丟到二手區拍賣 不過看到這裡突然鬥志高昂 再來練練英文寫作也不錯 不過這句話有點不解(可用他們UPS的戶頭退回美國) 我有辦法請 UPS 收件而不用我付錢? |

剛才突然想到我的卡不是有購物滿意保障嗎
於是拿起電話打給我的美國運通簽帳卡的白金秘書 不過回答是令人失望的 她回答購物滿意保障(含網購)只限於台灣, 而且現在也已經取消此措施) 唉, 每年繳一堆年費服務居然有打折 不過她告訴我先循該公司的管道與之協商 (她也認為沒人會想把新錶就拿去修理) 保留e-mail往返證據與商品寄件收據 如果他們的回應不合理, 美國運通會接手幫我處理 當即回信給廠商, 以下為內容: This watch is obviously a faulty item. I notified you the big problem soon after I got the item within 24 hours' of receiving from the UPS even though I never wear it on my hand. Nobody would let his watch open and get fixed soon after the purchase. I prefer the option that my watch get a brand new exchage to the same item. Or just give me the refund money once I send the watch back to you. Since this is obviously not my fault but yours, I think it is rational that you must take over the fees when the goods is transporting between Taiwan and USA. Besides, the item will be charged again the tax by the Taiwan custom (I already paid it once) when it arrives Taiwan, it is reasonable that you have to refund me the tax fees once the exchage item arrived here again. Please give me further instruction Best wishes |

我本來要跟你說信用卡保證
不過通常在美國才有用而且要超過250miles UPS的退回 可以由他們在網路上把退回的標籤弄好 email 給你 你把它印出來包裝後交給臺灣UPS 另一方式是他們把他們UPS帳戶號碼給你 你包裝後到UPS交給他們在那裡填表 這樣你就不用付費 你可以打電話問臺灣UPS 我說的都是在美國的做法 如果你退回此錶 照理說可以要求退回關稅 除此之外還要聯絡Amazon 告知他們 |
