Hahahaha, I did exactly the same thing earlier this week, and they just ignored me. Hahaha. I think b/c the model is limited, they might have sold out their quota already.

You know VC just came up with something similar and their plan is to honor 14 (I think) famous explorers? The first 2 are Zheng He and Magellan. The dial may not appeal to most people, b/c it's rather "loud", but it's an enamel plate, and has Zheng He's name on the plate.

Anyway, I can't afford it, so it's only fun to look at the pictures.

Get ready for this (make sure you have some water around you, and can get fresh air easily). I Just got this from Westime:

The price of the Urwerk is $50,000 in rose gold, and $55,000 in white gold. We will have some available in July. Pre orders are being taken as they will sell out.

But there was a piece of Uhrwerkin Sotheby's auction in HK
on Apr.10,2001. The hammer price was HK$24000.(LOT 60)

Seriously? May I ask how I can access the info about that lot?

Also, which one is Uhrwerkin?
