Pretty much all the nice watches are made in French or German speaking region. Has anyone thought of learning these languages due to the liking of the watches? Or am I just thinking too much? =)
For those who actually did, could you please share your experience?

As a big rookie in the world of watches, I find http://babelfish.altavista.com/ is quite useful. Of course it is not sufficient for watch fans in the advanced level, but I personally think it's enough for new entrants like me

I actually use that altavista page too, and I find that to be the best one for translation so far. Google has it too, but it's not as good.
However, I was actually talking about learning the language. I know it's pretty hard to pick up a new language, but I just want to be able to pronounce and understand things better. Since German seems to be closer to English, I picked up a beginner German book and started reading it. So far so good. 
I think I'm going nuts.
