That's part of the charm of a platinum ring... My wife's and mine wedding rings (and her engagement ring) are all marked by the passage of time. Some people like to take them to be repolished. For us, the marks just add to more to the rings, like lienyh said: they're part of the memory.

I think I will tell my wife to keep our rings as they looked.
