It's a great piece... I introduced it to my German colleague, and he actually placed an order last december. I think the price is great for a unique hand made piece. The toughest part is, it takes a few months to get the watch, which can be unbearable for most of us.

As a matter of fact, my colleague is still waiting.

Also, if Euro keeps rising, then it won't be such a good deal.

Did papageno get the first DD in Taiwan? I know there were around 6 owners in the US by the end of last year. And from what I've heard, he (and his dad) can only make around 10 per month.

The words on the street is, new models are coming out to replace the existing ones.

Not completely new, but there are enhancements. And I think one of them is a date feature (not sure if it's a big date).
