就好像如果大家在這裡討論一個便宜的排骨便當要多少錢
大家都說大概 50-70 就有了, 然後你說, "至少要 120 以上!" (5元美金)
然後大家說沒那麼貴的時候你才說 120 以上是在美國
請問這意義何在?
price difference depends heavily on the brand and availability
i would say the overall price difference (listed price) is minimal
but taiwan does offer greater discounts
跟台美差價跟歐元走勢並沒有絕對的關係
and it also depends on what your base currency is |
Why don't u tell me the meaning of price differences HEAVILY on the brand? We all know that! This has nuttin to do with BRANDs. ok? Do u think ppl are as dumb as u think SEKIO and ROLEX are in the same level.
Believe it or not, curencies does effect the price on those HIGH-lEVEL LUXURY watches. Please do ur homework b4 u can make any judgments. I don't wanna argue with u since u have nuttin to show.

i think you have trouble understanding my english...
when i said "price difference depends heavily on the brand and availability," it means the price difference between two regions, i.e. united states and taiwan. as to why you would think someone would try to tell you there's a price difference between seiko and rolex because of different brands is beyond me.
fact: many major watch brands have increased their listed prices recently, and the reasons they've been giving us include: higher cost of raw materials, labor, currency fluctuations... yada yada... it's just garbage. they jacked up the prices because they want to, and because they can, and we still do buy them. it's just supply and demand. demand is much higher these days from the emerging markets, especially in asia.
USD continues to weaken against almost all major currencies, especially EURO. but did the US authorized dealers reduced their listed prices?
if my base currency is USD, then no, watches are not getting cheaper becasue of the weak dollars.
on the other hand, if my base currency is CNY, then HELLS YEAH all watches are getting cheaper by at least 10% on an annual basis should i decide to buy all of my watches in the united states.
this seems simple, yet rocket science to some.

當別人指出這並非台灣的行情時您才用不客氣的口吻補充說您這是美國的行情
這似乎有些雞同鴨講 (?)

其實不只Zenith,
一般來說 美國地區 錶的定價都比台灣低一點(就算加上tax之後也一樣) 但是折扣沒有台灣漂亮
所以總合起來 台灣買到的價格還比美國好點.這也是大多數的人買錶都希望在台灣買划算
不像日本 被吃死死的 定價也高 折扣也濫 說實在的滿可憐的

today my friend went to window shopping. he asked abt the zenith chronograph .... the discount is 37% i am surprise .... so much?? im thinking to buy one for my birthday. 
by the way Im from Malaysia. what do u guys think 37% is it alot?
