我找了一下, 還有兩條MX錶帶 (MX因該也停售了). 其中間那一條MX0024CL不管是顏色或是buckle的logo style都跟249很像. 看一下吧:

I really like the strap on your pam 04 I always wondering if it is difficult for a nice color matching strap for PVDs? coz they are so black!! me also thinking of getting a PVD too, but i heard its really easy to scratch, very difficult to wear, is that true? thanks for sharing |

That's actually the OEM straps  it's a bit more orangish than the OEM straps they have now, isn't it?
i have been using the Gabo lv strap with a pre-v style PVD buckle on the pam 4 for a while now, which i believe to be the best combo for me thus far. 
as for the pvd coating, it will last well as the coating is relatively thick. it does get scratched like all other ss watches, but without the benefit of cape cod. 
if the scratch gets too deep, the original coding needs to be stripped off and replates again. the only thing with replating pvd is that you will never get back to the pvd color the watch once had. if you compare the pvd on the early pams (A or B series) to the later 195, the color of the 195 appears to be a bit more grayish. that's because panerai outsources the pvd job to a few 3rd party vendors. it will be very interesting to see if someone can post a comparsion shot of the original pam26 and the reissued.

you have point out a very interesting theory Fred.
for OEM pvd models, the 4 the 9 or 195 etc, the coating is relatively thin and once it is scratched, it looks awful, a redo job wont recover it to the original condition. So in another word, PVD makes watches unwearable??! I have seen a rePVDed 28A on the market once, if collector lost the original box and papers, makes it difficult to identify whether it is a true 28 or a 27? same theory can be applied on other models too, such as a fake pam 4 which is actually a pam 1 anyways, i am still considering whether buying a PVD is the right move, love the look but i know i will hate it if its not wearable, i wear my panerais a lot and once its not wearable, i may put it up for sale. Please share your thoughts, need some opinions form experienced PVD user, thanks in advance |
