both can be daily use. If you have a lot of money to spend, get them both.
If there would be only one you can choose in your life, get 5059. 5059 is rare than 5054. Besides that, 5059 is more visible when reading the date and day. You need a good eyeglasses to read the dial of 5054. Despite the cost, 5059 is more practical in terms of both daily using and collecting, isn't it? |

Besides mentioned above, if you choose 5054, I bet you will never gorget 5059, you definetely would buy 5059 maybe few monthes or years later.
If you buy 5059, you probably can save the money of 5054 for an AP, Lange or even a car....., unless you are a PP fan. But if you are a PP fan, You should not ask a question like that. Just personal opinion, take it easy, be cool!! |

先去定5059吧,白K金約需等6至10個月

5059是萬年曆的∼一支可以買上兩支5054還有找∼5054有代理PP的都應該有（因它賣的不錯︿︿）∼白金版的不太確定∼這兩支無法比∼級數有點差異∼功能更是不同...唯一能比的都是自動鏈∼呵呵∼這兩支都是好錶...︿︿

Lange is my favor watch, I would say 80% of Lange models are superior than PPs. However, I saw both watches in person last summer in Wempe in NY. I found the subdials of Langematik Perpetual Calendar was really hard to read. Compared to the elegant and simple dial of 5059. I still vote 5059 the most beautiful perpetual calendar in the world. |

I do agree in person that most models of Lange are more beautiful and well manufactured than PP's.
But in terms of perpetual calander I would say pp's 5059 is more elegant and legible than anyone else in the world. |
