Still here in Boston.
I wear my watch so I buy the new Rolex.
I don't "collect" watch.
Too many troubles to maintain the vintage one....
(even their service is excellent they keep their parts for 20/30 years)

O, it's my late grandfather's self-winding Rolex. When I was young, he didn't wear it everyday, but I remember he used to swing his arm and try to charge up. That's how I learned that watches don't always need batteries.
My aunt has it now, but my family is tight, and she said she'll give it to me when she's done playing with it. She gave me one of his tobacco pipes already. =) She likes antique and vintage stuff, and she still has her grandfather's stuff. It's kinda cool. |
